wo pictures of a GTX TITAN in black have emerged on Chinese forums. At this point this could even be a normal TITAN only painted in Black, but if it was modified by user, he did a great job.

As I said, we don’t even know if this is a real engineering sample. It could even be a prototype which was never released. However most likely it’s just a custom painted card.

If it were a Black Edition, they would have used the black aluminum heatsink found in the GTX 780 Ti.

After hearing about the 780ti black edition, I bet someone just painted their Titan black.

What is the point of his card,Nvidia? Unless it is highly oc'd and has some exotic metal to it, then it is a pointless card. Knowing that it's Nvidia, they might even charge an extra for this 'exclusivity'.. And no, all black graphics card or any pc hardware is not sexy at all. It is dull.

Gtx titan black edition. never heard of it

 

Someone just have titan and trying to have 780 ti by painting it. hope he feels better now

Definitely a painted card. If they were to release a Black Edition of anything, it'd be the 780Ti, not the Titan. Plus the window isn't tinted black like the 780Ti, I would assume they would do that with a Black Edition of the Titan as well.

Colour is personal opinion.  Personally I love black.  And it's rumoured that the card has not TDP limit so basically if this is true it will overclocked like crazy.  I don't think its a pointless card, because it will be "limited edition" and for people who like to collect GPUs.

I'm just saying that it will be a pointless card if the only thing that is limited edition about it is the colour. And it is not even a unique colour like 2K or something. I like black too but personally I think that it shouldn't be all black, it needs to have at least some lighter shade colour to appreciate the amazing cooler silhouettes and lines, and also the materials it is made off.

This would match up with initial rumors of a black edition ti only instead of a 780 ti its a titan with full smx 6gb of vram and double precision unlocked all on a rev b1 chip for better overclocks. Do want.

NVIDIA is at war with themselves.

Isn't AMD at war with themselves as well? 290 or 290x should not exist. They are both the same card with a different bios.
