Too good to be True?

No. its perfectly normal. By the time it sells, it will sell for much more money, like the actual price.

But with my budget I'll check tomorrow to see how cheap it is

Ok. I'm just telling you, its not going to sell for a low price. I list my things on ebay for a low first bid, then they sell for much more.

Example of me selling my Logitech g27:

he tosses it up for auction, and based on what gave him two negative feedbacks, if it doesnt reach the price he hoped for he just screws you over.

Buyer: "Hey PayPal, I got screwed.  I'm opening up a dispute."
PayPal: "That sucks.  Hey Seller, WTF?"

Seller: "Uhh... My dog ate it?"

PayPal: "What's that, I can't hear you over the sound of us reversing the transaction.  Also, THIS is why we hold funds for PayPal purchases in escrow until a set date or if delivery can be confirmed by a tracking number."

Buyer: "Thanks for giving me all my money back!"

Cause PayPal sides so hard with buyers that you could basically ABUSE it even if you legit received the product.

Wait, I'm going back and seeing only now that you posted that you're too young to have a paypal account.

The only payment options listed are PayPal and credit card (Credit transactions are run through paypal even for non-paypal account holders)  how on EARTH did you expect to pay for it if you don't have a paypal account or credit card?

Probably ask his parents.

My guess is that they will not help you once they realize it's an auction. Sorry OP but I'd give up on getting that motherboard. You were in Canada, right? So remember that you might need to pay import tax and/or duty fees as well.

...But you have to be 18 to legally enter a contract to borrow money in Canada.  You can't be under 18 and have your own credit card.  And you can't be 'too young to have a paypal account' but not too young to have a credit card. o.O

Though either way, PayPal will be the payment processor for the transaction.  Also credit cards have their own fraud protection schemes on top of that.

Is it an ACTUAL credit card or one of those 'Virtual Visa Debit Cards' or similar that can function like a credit card but actually directly withdraws funds from a bank account?

I'm pretty sure that it's not an actual credit card if you're under 18...

However, you definitely should not post photos of your credit card.  But I think you're confusing one kind of card for another.

It's a debit/credit card

Right... So it's a Visa Debit or other kind of 'Virtual Visa' debit card, exactly like I said it would be but then you contested, saying 'It's a legit credit card' when it wasn't a credit card at all.

So, it's not a credit card.  It's a banking debit card where all funds are directly withdrawn from a bank account.  It has a credit card like number and such which allows it to interact with supporting credit accepting services but instead of billing a credit account, the payment is taken from an account with funds it in.  Because you're under 18 so you can't actually HAVE a credit card.
