Sapphire RX570 ITX vs EVGA 1060 SC 6GB

mapegl

Which if the two would you get and why? The gtx 1060 could also be replaced by any other itx variant of the 1060, however I feel like the EVGA SC is the best option.

It needs to fit in an Elite 110 from Cooler Master.

Edit: I am talking about the 6GB 1060. Also the 570 ITX us only available in 4GB. Just for clarification.

Get the 1060 3G/6G over the 570, the 580 should be the same price as the 1060s tho

The 570 ITX actually costs around 190, while the 1060 costs around 260+. Big difference in price.

I guess bitcoin craze in Germany has yet to arrive. ;-)

the 570 is a bit slower than the GTX 1060 3GB but not by much

for that price yes if you are on a budget, the 570 is the no brainer

but for performance yet in a SFF then get the GTX 1060

Why not an RX 580/480 then?

1060 3GB > RX 570/470 > 1060 6GB = 580/480 4GB > 580/480 8GB

As I stated in my original post: the case has serious limitations.  There are no short RX480 or RX580 cards....

if you need small, then 1060 6GB is your card. small coolers usually have bad thermals, and Pascal is more efficient than Polaris.

the RX 570 is very slightly slower than the 1060 3gb(like around 2% or so), its no match for the 6gb gtx 1060.

Sucks. I was looking at the rx 570 itx feom sapphire. It is really cheap and apparently decently cooled. I guess I will hold out a bit longer for something that makes sense. I don't want to downgrade too much from my current 8gb RX480.

you're getting a downgrade from going with a 480 to an RX 570. if you wanna upgrade a gtx 1070/980ti/r9 fury x would be more appropriate.
