Love the speed, hate the latency.

I used to have 1Mbps DSL plan for $30 a month and then upgraded to this fiber plan for $47 a month. Pretty happy except for the part where the latency didn't change

Upgraded from BT & Sky to our new Ogi Provider in our area and can't complain with theses speeds compared to 30mbps up and 4mbps down to this 🙂

Pretty happy with our local fiber provider. Latency is absolutely top-notch, $79/mo for symmetric gigabit.

50,000 GB/s

It's not amazing but it pays the bills

No screenshots available cuz I can't get the test to work but on my xbox it says the download speed is 50mb/s (which you have to x100 to get to Gigabytes right?)

Message me on discord (bread8669) for more help

If you mean mobile. Highest I got was in the city travelling in a taxi about 730 down and 59 up with my iPhone 12. At home it's near enough gigabit down and 100 up. Virgin media is the most reliable broadband as far as I know in the UK and they run this through copper (coax).

I was on EE before. 60 max speed as well plus the regular issues we've had with it, I've got a few 0mbps down and 0 mbps up speedtest with it. Most still use the same ADSL, be it EE, TalkTalk, BT etc. VM are the only ones as far as I know that use coax. Only few areas in the UK seem to have fiber, probably in the bigger cities.

Working for a fiber to the home company has its advantages... testing out a new 10gb router. Right now our main connection is only 10gb so its saturated when I test it. We will be upgrading to 100gb in the very near future I'm being told.

My ISP in Poland has an option for 2gbps, but only offers routers with 1gbps ports and I don't think they support link aggregation either. I think they specify that you only make full use of it with multiple computers on the network.

Once they release hardware that let's me take better advantage of it I'll probably upgrade 😁

Living my last few months with my parents after a terrible housing market finally bought a home and will be moving soon. And taking fiber with 1 GB up & down.
At the moment 600 down 60 up. Fine for most tasks but working from home as a video producer has its issues sometimes.

At some point the upload should increase to 1Gbps. The connection is delivered over Coaxial right now. Hoping to get Fiber at some point as well!

Has Spectrum laid out its plan? I know Comcast it working to upgrade uploads to 200 Mbps right now. No cable company will upgrade to 1 Gbps until Docsis 4 rolls out I believe. CableLabs started testing Docsis 4 modems from many vendors, so hopefully it will not be much longer.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Spectrum is going DOCSIS 3.1 with High Split (200+Mhz return). They have also talked about DOCSIS 4.0.
