Define S PSU cover mod help

So this is my first attempt at modding and I figured this is a good first step. Can ANYONE help me? Where do I start/best ways to measure, ect. I literally have no experience ;w; Possible previous build log maybe?

I got a custom Define S PSU cover.

 

I can measure it out for you tomorrow and take pictures to help you out.

I'd start figuring out where you will get materials.

Scrap aluminum or even thin steel should work and shouldn't be too hard to find. 

I would draw a fairly large diagram or print a picture of the area you want to cover, at different angles so that all measurements are visible. It helps when designing.

A simple way to get an approx measurement of your layout and design would be to use cardboard, to then layout and cut out of metal or acrylic. If your interested I have a guide under PSU Shroud that goes over details on that:

i have yet to make a psu shroud in my define S but i did the floor ( click here ) 

i just use cardboard and paper to make a design.
