Another case of Haunted Hardware?

Greetings, I felt like sharing with you guys this odd happening since stories of haunted hardware are always somewhat amusing, I have noticed that out of the blue my HWMonitor has decided to wrongly label my GPU for whatever reason, and before you guys get worried for me; the graphics card is performing perfectly fine without any issue what so ever, even a quick user.benchmark test showed it to be "Performing above expectations (75th percentile)" so there really isn't any need to go messing up with the drivers solely to fix this.

 

Have you faced any similar issue?

This is just a software bug, nothing to do with hardware or haunting.

I refuse to believe this is the first software bug you have ever encountered when using a computer...

that was disappointing... 

 

edit: @Princess Cadence Uninstall HWMonitor, then go to Device Manager and manually remove the actual driver from the system. Reboot and reinstall HWMonitor.

I'll do the full reinstall of it and see if the issue fades away, as stated this is more likely a software issue and not hardware but quite haunted nonetheless xD

Oh that's not my monitor, it is my 40 inch Toshiba TV which I use for certain games on the gamepad [:
and movies anime etc for when I'm on bed ^~^

After the full reinstall of the HWMonitor it finally came back to its reason:
