Go to solution Solved by Electronics Wizardy,

Ok, I did that.  What's a bridge, and how do I set up a bridge?  My gaming PC uses windows 10.

Alright.  Now that I've done that, can I unplug my server from my gaming PC?

What is your server connected to? Is it connected to a router or switch that has internet access?

And you gotta keep it plugged in. Now go to the server and its time to setup the network.

Well, let's put this logically, if you plug in a light bulb into a power source, it will light up. If you unplug it, it will turn off.

Now that I have explained that, perhaps network connections work the same way...

Not at all.  I do know Java though.  I'm only 14.  I got this server to test out the DRAC card, and to store files on it and access them remotely.

I rebooted the server, and it gave me the same thing.

Well perhaps you should dedicate some time into learning some basic networking and linux before you have a long thread to educate you on the subjects.

Age doesn't really matter, and neither does it matter if you can do a 360noscope...

I don't play Call of Duty if that's what you're trying to get at.  I'm sorry if this thread is too long.  I just want to be able to get my server working.  Can you just help me instead of criticizing me?

I also want to show my dad that I have not just bought another useless item.  I want to be able to put this server to use.

My point is, that telling me you know Java is about as relevant as telling me you can drive a car or 360noscope or something.

And you're not going to get your server working if you don't understand or know how. And the only way to learn how is to research and learn.

You won't learn anything from asking loads of questions here.

Ok, I'm sorry, but I cannot find "wifi" in control panel.

Ok, I did the whole sharing thing.  Back to the server?  Listen, what I really want to do is to be able to use the DRAC card.
