I have seen numerous posts that are asking for help on their system, but they ask it like we know exactly what the system specifications are. Look, unless someone is psychic, we don't know what you have to deal with. Please just put your system specs in the question! Thanks, slightly irritated member.

I always try to quote someone when I am responding to their question. That way they'll get a notification saying "Someone quoted you in a topic ...."

I've sometimes asked questions without adding my specs because it's in my sig but I've been too lazy to set my sig up lol. And I forgot how.

And they could be more specific, not post long titles and then not specify further. They could list location and budget for any purchase question, not just new builds. And so on and so on. Not going to happen.

Seriously though i started a new post once with just default settings on the day theme and someone was crying and bitching about how he cant read the black font on the night theme....like why is that my problem

 

edit. nvm it seems to convert black text to white on the night theme. i think earlier it was still a little broken

They should really implement a "preview" feature for us to verify things format correctly in the night theme. Things get really abusive with these Night Theme people. I've seen innocent members immediately get called a "cunt" just because they didn't anticipate formatting discrepancies. It's absolutely ridiculous how entitled some of those users are. Heck I didn't even know such a theme existed in the first place.

im not going to take extra steps to cater to others theme's

Yea I personally wouldn't give two craps about how it looks on the night theme. But it'll be nice to have for the people who don't want to deal with unnecessary abuse on a forum that's supposed to be a positive community and is for the most part.
