Enemy invades - what youll do?

Since BF4 came (or will come for some part of this planet; heard it was released on Mars 5 days ago allthought servers are empty) topic made purily for discussion of some country invading your own (or one you live in now).

 

Soo lets assume Russians party way too hard with Chinese people and on hangover attacked States. At that time you play some game or watch porn when you hear communicate that enemy has invaded and to find safe place.

 

Of course lets say that Canada attacked by Eskimos, UK got attacked by French, Holland by Schnitzel army leaded by dutch "traitor" looney or Poland by Germany (well assume Poland got something they want or just Germany are masochists ).

 

What you would do? Run to the woods? Join the army to fight against the invaders? Create Guerilla unit and do some damage? Go "pfffff... like i care!" and keep on playing games (soon enough killed by invaders)

I would be more interested in fighting for a world organization that looks to enforce NWO and gets rid of countries, commercialism and more.  As for fighting for Canada well if we were invaded yes I would take up arms right away.

Well i live in Perth Australia and any country that is stupid enough to attack Perth can be defeated with some duck tape and a sharpened spoon, There is literally ZERO reasons to attack Perth it has no valuable military assets the only thing you might want to attack Australia in general for is fossil fuels, Iron and Uranium. Even then you could just make a bargain with Australia and say give us materials or we attack and chances are I reckon we would accept those terms.

I would disassemble my rig and pack the parts and any other valuables into a hidden storage cellar I dug about a year ago, grab my evac bag and my rifle and walk out my back door into 700 square miles of woods and hang out there until it all blew over then I would come back retrieve and assemble my rig and play some games.

steam password (also I would un-authorize my rig before I would take it apart.)

Bios password -> Removed battery, Windows password -> Windows OS reinstalled or Linux USB OS launch with app to get password for Windows and Steam password recovered from data on HDD/SSD.

Armed citizens will do little to no damage against a trained army rolling through with shock and awe tactics. 

 

On Topic: I'd join the military and request immediate deployment. Any escalation leading up to war between China and the US will likely involve Taiwan, and like hell I'll sit at home and wait it out as my family dies.

On Topic: I'd join the military and request immediate deployment. Any escalation leading up to war between China and the US will likely involve Taiwan, and like hell I'll sit at home and wait it out as my family dies.

also add in the psychological factor of the army moving in a country were citizen can carry guns

Yeah, you should probably go study some history. Modern military forces roll into enemy territory with a combination of vehicular, aircraft and infantry support. Armed citizens do not have RPG's to take care of tanks. Citizens do not have easy access to anti aircraft weaponry. Citizens also do not have access to a military supply line and fully automatic weapons. A militia is easily put down by an invading force that is actually invading and subscribes to total war. Hint: the US military does not subscribe to total war and abides by the Geneva Conventions. The US military is also heavily scrutinized by the American public. This is why we don't outright win every war we get into: we are forced to send in infantry when we could have just carpet bombed everything to oblivion.

 

And "anyways" that probably would help Taiwan. In the 1996 Formosa Missile Crisis, USS Battlegroup Nimitz was deployed to the Formosan Strait due to Chinese "missile testing" near the island. Tensions were high and war could have happened. There's a reason why the US has numerous bases in the Pacific, namely in Japan and South Korea.
