3 GTX770s SLI

I74770k@4.3Ghz

Wow seeing this is kinda... weird. I know it´s just a 770 but a 3 way SLI and just 5096 points... don´t get me wrong I´m not flaming... but a 2 way GTX 780 SLI can push just as much out. This being said I wouldn´t want to run this PCIe 3.0 8x8x4 setup. The X79 (X99) CPUs (not the smallest ones) have more native lanes which causes less lag.

That´s why would always go with 1 highend GPU rather than 2 med tier GPUs... but I have to admit this is interesting.

And again these are just personal thoughts... no flames attached.

Intel i7 7820X (delidded) @ 4.9GHz - MSI X299 M7 ACK + EKWB Fullcover Block - G.Skill Trident Z 32GB @ 3466MHz - nVidia Titan Xp + EKWB Fullcover Block @ 2.1GHz - Samsung 960Pro 2x - WDD Blue 2TB - Seasonic 750W Platinum - modded Corsair 600C - Hardtubed Custom Watercooling

Sli wont run with 4x, also, its 8x 4x 4x. Hes is using a PLX chip on his mobo.

Bandwith wise, he is not bottlenecked.

I didn´t say it will bottleneck did I?

I said it will generate more lag... and as a matter of fact the more GPUs you add with less than PCIe 2.0 16x the more lag you get.

If my three measley 300 dollar cards put me on par with gaming rigs with thousands of dollars of graphics cards in them, it makes me very happy.

I don't break codes or do any 3d rendering ...

I play 6020x1080p and only limitation I've hit is vram. Easily solved by turning down msaa 1 notch.

Also its a GAz87x OC force mobo so the pcie config is 16/0/8/8 with three GPUs. With 4 way they are all 8.

Fair enough ;) .

Your mainboard is a nice choice. And as written before I have no intensions to be mean.

Got a pretty decent score with a couple of MSI GTX 760 @ 1200+ MHz. Great value for the money spent.

I thought it was about time I submitted. No idea how it stacks up:

i expected a bit better from a 7950. you need to get the memory up as that is the main things that helps get you're score up on this benchmark ;)

1575 is max my mem is stable at, if I unlock extended clock ranges and try 1580 it just crashes, even with a memory overvolt

wow that sucks then :( i thought my 7970 was bad and you can see where that is. most 7950's can get around 2100 when maxed out

I can get ~2000 points if I wanted too as there is more headroom on the core + volts, but GPU overclocking is too boring for me.

Thanks for putting my score in there. It seems my 780ti wasn't the best draw in the silicon lottery  :mellow: But I gotta say its still a beast  :D

Anyway just wanted to let you know that you accidentally put my CPU  as a i7 3570k when it should be an i5.

Ahh, why the heck not. Would be interesting to compare my system's score now to when I swap to a GTX780.

CPU: i7-3770K
GPU: Palit GTX760 2GB. Core: 1123.5MHz. Memory: 1502.3MHz (3004MHz in Valley)
FPS Avg: 46.25 (Min/Max: 19.8/72.7)
Score: 1614
Setting: Direct3D11, 1080p Fullscreen, 8xAA, ExtremeHD

Valley screenshot linky linky:
sml_gallery_119866_1760_1201007.png

~~~~
EDIT:
Okay, I just redid the tests with Valley after a fresh power cycle, and actually making sure the 3770K was clocked at 4.2GHz (seems I clocked it at 3.9GHz with a 39x multi the last time I set it, probably as a "try now and go to full 4.2 later" thought), and got what's probably slightly more honest benchmarks either way. <Valley score with GPU-Z, CPU-Z, Speccy showing CPU usage and the CPU Cooler software>
sml_gallery_119866_1760_132153.png
Got .1fps and 6 points extra on Valley's rating (so 38.6->38.7, 1614->1620), dropped the max/raised the min, dropped by like .3fps on a calculated average.
All that is probably within margin of error to be honest, but was fun to try nonetheless.
