Unigine Valley Benchmark Scores Thread + SUPERPOSITION ***Over 1000 Submissions!***

Jumper118

This is pretty much the best i can get with zero artifacts, doesn't seem to make any difference at either +50Mv or +100Mv, so i left it at +50Mv for peace of mind.

Cant get near that reference 290 but it is good enough for second place.  :P

Didn't post here for months.

But here I am, back with the first Ultra HD benchmark in this thread (beware, I don't have a UHD monitor so I had to downsample and Valley doesn't yet support 3840x2160 which means you have to use a custom res and manually set Extreme presets).

Nontheless, here is my great score...

i7 2700k @ 4.4Ghz

Msi GTX 670 @ 1215 MHz Core, 1704 MHz Mem

Points: 147

Avg. FPS: 3.5

The Vram bottleneck was strong in this one.

That makes me sad, because a 670 is pretty powerful card barring it's VRAM.

Finally had some time to play around with the card, managed to go up to 1.3ghz boosted but it wasnt 24/7 stable, so i had to drop it down a bit.

bench was done using 1160mhz core, 1225mhz core boost and 1277mhz actual clock speeds with 1.190v. Going at 1.2 or higher didnt really help and temps are quite high as it is. Memory was at 7800mhz with 1.64v, im pretty sure it can do 8000 but at this point, its not making too much difference. i might give it a go later :)

UPDATE

So after playing around a bit this is the max I can get without artifacting. Too bad I can´t push it any further but the 1 card doesn´t like it and I want to run my cards linked, but I guess the score is alright :) .

i experienced a massive score drop with the latest driver. anyone else?

I have issues with data-throughput-dependent frame-reduction when overclocking. After 3 to 4 minutes of load (Unigine Valley) the framerate drops down to roughly half. GPU-statistics don't change, except for the total power-consumption and GPU-temperature. CPU-overclocking makes it worse.

I haven't tested my graphics-card behaviour at stock, but will do it this weekend.

Edit: Lowering the memory-clock fixed my problem. At stock it doesn't occur and CPU-clocks only affect it, when the issue is present.

Unigine scales horrible with amd cards, 3Dmark is a way better to compare performance in that manner ;)

Also, this pic is done using 2x r9-290 on air, as said:
