Unigine Valley Benchmark Scores Thread + SUPERPOSITION ***Over 1000 Submissions!***

Jumper118

Sorry for double post but i got to improve my previous score:

With i7 4790k Stock Clock

try upping the core a bit more if you can and also overclocking your cpu might give you a few points. i see you said before you were getting a lower score at a high core speed, so it probably needs a bit more voltage or power for the core.

I'm not overclocking my cpu since i'm still with stock cooler. But i'll look into upping core voltage tho i don't believe i'll be using it during gaming since my gpu is already hitting 76ºC (room temperature is 30ºC) (i believe 80ºC is when gpu starts getting damaged?)

HNahxtt.png

I can only overvolt 0.0125V with gigabyte oc guru 2 ._. And while with 1.2v 1260mhz i had less perfomance than 1250mhz, with 1.2125V 1260mhz crashes arround scene 9 and 1270mhz  in the 2nd scene.

Your card can operate roughly up to 100 degrees, but you should never let that happen for an extended period of time.  My personal threshold is about 84 degrees for long term use.

i ran my cpu at 4.925ghz on the stock cooler :P. it looks like 1250 is the stable limit of your core. most of the 1300+ 770's are msi lightnings so they have an advantage :P.

lol i cant edit the spreadsheet on my pc xD

it works fine for my SLI, ya a Driver update might be needed

Im gonna try and get my score higher than his with my 280 ;) hahaha

it looks like its averaging out at 60% on both cards. my 25-30% increase wasn't far off your getting a 26% increase from the second card for some reason. it should be at 90-99% all the time

One of my 760's does 1800 by itself, and another 7950 CF system is getting 4k points on the doc. You have some serious issue going on.

I know this is getting a bit old but i have confirmed that this is an issue with unigine and not my crossfire setup, firestrike shows that my hardware is working how it should be.

Here is a random guys r9 290 firestrike score

Now my video i did a few months ago before i updated my mobo and processor, skip to the end and you can see there is not much difference in the scores. (Considering the r9 290 is a better card)

I have just ran the benchmark with my current setup last night and im scoring just under my last score cause my current cpu is only at 4.2ghz.

Also my friends dual gtx 760s in sli only just score above mine.

Below is a single 7950's score, as you can see it is pretty much half of what i get at stock.

Verdict is that unigine for some reason does not properly read/utilize my setup. I cant think of anything else.

That may be the case. But the proof is there, that firestrike shows my scores really well, yet valley extreme rates it really low, in comparison to other peoples dual 7950's.  As i mentioned earlier i run bf4 on ultra and the i rarely dip below 70 fps, usually sits between 90-100fps as i have it capped at 100fps. i simply could not do that if crossfire was not working as it should be.The problem is not the hardware, its the software.

I have switched between 14.4 and 14.7 same result, plus 14.7 is more stable for crossfire.

I was trying to benchmark my gpu in the basic preset. At first i had 50 fps and i noticed my gpu was underclocking for some unkown reason (500 mhz core 700 mhz memory). I had to restart my pc to get to 1280 mhz (tho it's overclocked to 1250) + 1925 mhz.

But when running the basic preset i crash at arround scene 10 when it's starting to rain (i think it crashes on the first lighting thunder). Tried twice, the 2 times it crashed there. Extreme HD preset works well.

Also, my gpu consumes 80% tdp on basic and 70% tdp on extreme hd?

yeah that is the main thing with benchmarking. its alright having a thread full of scores, but you need some way of looking at all of them, so you don't have to look through 50+ pages just to find similar systems to yours.
