Unigine Valley Benchmark Scores Thread + SUPERPOSITION ***Over 1000 Submissions!***

Jumper118

The CPU bottleneck hurts. How far can you clock it on only 2 cores? That'd be your best bet for a higher score

Yeah I turned the cores off in my bios and attempted to run it. Wouldn't load the program kept giving some error messages. Even tried with 4 same issue. Something I missed?

Not sure, never seen that happen before. I've done runs on 2 cores active before without an issue

I'll give it another go Friday night. Just got my right angle fittings in so I'll be putting my pastels in after the tool concert. Busy week!

First time OC, pretty happy with it. Gigabyte 980Ti Waterforce. Could probably push a littler harder for just benching, but having artifacts/crashing in-game with more (mainly Witcher 3).

Reference run with my mATX setup and no airflow. Spent half the time at 1430, the other half at 1202. No CPU overclock either so there's definitely a lot of room for improvement, but that will have to wait until tomorrow.

I tried my very very best, but I could not resist buying a Fury-X I had just had to try one out.

Carde

CPU: 3770K at 4.5Ghz as always :)

Core: 1180Mhz

Mem: 540Mhz

Score 3685

d4Dvw2N.jpg?1

Results where as expected not a match for 980 ti but still quite decent, wish I could have pushed the HBM a bit more, but it flatout crashed unique when put to 550, same with the core 1190 is just a crash for unique. Not PC actually which does surprise me, generally when I push the limits the PC itself has to be rebooted.

Not sure what I will do with the card, I can't really use it as I cannot mount the damn radiator in my case as the rear slot which is the only 120mm possibility is blocked by the tubing from my 360 rad on top for the CPU. Might just have to send it back to the store.

Edit:

To compare my 980ti got 104.5FPS in valley, whopping 18.5% faster.

I'll take #1 overall please :D

No OC on the cards, just let them do what they wanted to. Sat at 1417mhz on the core most of the time since I didn't bother with the fans.

I'm going to have to put my CPU at 4.9 and max out the cards to see how far I can push this setup.

Haha, ya I know. I know I can get at least another 70 out of the memory, but it was giving me troubles when I was doing this run so I dropped it down a little. There should be a little left on the cores, but one of mine will only go to like 1515. I'll try to push it a little farther later. Right now I'm just happy with 7040 :D

Either way you don't see dual 980 TI KPE's often.

Also my 970 FTW+'s 2 of 3 Display Port ports weren't working on the zero fan bios no matter what bios was flashed onto it, and DVI would have whatever monitor plugged in when tabbing in and out of full screen stuff sometimes tint it a random color with a ton of static. Probably the last 970 I'll ever own. I've owned four in about a year and have had hell. At least a 4GB GTX 680 is still perfectly usable at 1080p in daily use on games today. Even GTA V runs flawless on it almost maxed. :D
