Unigine Valley Benchmark Scores Thread + SUPERPOSITION ***Over 1000 Submissions!***

Jumper118

Wasn't the 5850 DOA?

nop, apparently the trimpot is VMEM and not VGPU, Splave remembered and told me.

So now I just need to keep trying to boot and upping the voltage to memory.

I did. I turned off everything that it would let me. I'm not sure it did anything though. Some programs still seem to override some of CCC's settings.

Too bad I'm selling the Fury X's. I'd love to give it one last go, but Trixx won't apply overclocks anymore so it's not really possible.

hmmmm you should get higher than lays 980ti even with his op tweaks with tess off. maybe its cpu limited. tbh i would stick to looking at 4k and 1440P for that kind of card setup as 1080p is cpu limited in this benchmark with the higher end cards now. The benchmark really needs a 2.0 version.

It really does need to be updated to use more cores. I saw my biggest gains from CPU overclocking. I mean, OCing the GPUs would gain like 200-300 points, but 400mhz on the CPU would be like 1000. It doesn't really help that the Fury's aren't at their best at 1080 either. That's OK though, I bought a Kingpin to push as far as I can. OCing turned out to be a lot more fun that I used to think and the Fury's just aren't that great at it (although I think mine did pretty good).

testing my newly built HTPC - yet to test power draw but its not much! the GPU is currently the bottleneck - CPU usage is low in valley

CPU: J1900 celeron (1.9ghz quad core) - 10w tdp passive cooling uleh

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7350 @ 850 mhz core & 1.0ghz mem

test: baisc

GPUz wigged out and wanted me to reboot to show it. it dosnt have anything useful to say about the GPU anyway - Valley is reporting the correct and live clocks that are set in AMD overdrive (MSI AB had a bad time clocking this card)

This is my first post here guys, I'm new to pc gaming and I'm loving it! I built my very first pc over christmas break and I think I did ok.  This result is with 2x msi gtx 970 4gd5t. How does this compare to others with sli setup?

you both need gpuz speed.

GPUz had a really bad time and required me to reboot and re-run valley... cbf and now the card is out of the rig. Valley reported the same speeds as GPUz in this instance.

No idea how good or bad mine is.

Just need GPU-Z in the screenshot. Just to see the core and memory speed.

Dual GPU Tab:

Faster than my 660s by about 300 points. Not far off that 7970/7950 combo either,

All GPUs Tab:

Up there with GTX 970s. Faster than a 290X and 390X. Not too shabby.

You should try overclocking your card. Could pull a nice 3K score with it.

I'm too inexperienced in OCing especially GFX otherwise I'd love to give it a go.

Just raise the core by 10MHz to start. Once it passes that run of Valley raise it another 10MHz.

If the driver crashes or artifacts occur lower clock by 5MHz. You shouldn't need to do much voltage adjustment since i assume you're on stock/air cooling.

Once you've found a stable core speed then work on memory. Maxwell (GTX 900 series) loves the additional memory clock. Raise it by 100MHz to start.

If it artifacts or crashes lowering it by 50MHz should be fine i think.

When you're done take a screenshot of the final score + GPU-Z window for core and mem clocks.

And whenever @Jumper118 wakes up he'll update the sheet.

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely give it a go! :) When benchmarking shall I run my cards in SLI or just singular?

Edit: I'm assuming core = GPU CLOCK OFFSET & additional = MEM CLOCK OFFSET ?

Yessum.

You can start with +50 on core instead of +10, they both should easily do +50, this will save you some time testing.  Then bump it up 10 afterwards.

Gonna attempt to set #1 score on entire thread when I get my Ln2 pot for my GPU

Dunno if I can get a 15 FPS boost from DICE on the Matrix & CPU, but pretty sure I can.

I'll do 1 run with LOD, one without LOD.

Fairly sure GPU should do 1650-1700, maybe slightly more on DICE, CPU for sure does 5.9 in Valley 4 core 8 thread, I think if I do 4 core 4 thread, I can do 6 Ghz.
