Yeah, the Community Standards are the main rules here and some subforums have some more rules/guidelines too.

Oh shit, you better pack some burn heal for that one.

Anyway, imo you should have to read through all rules before you can make a profile. kinda like terms&conditions.

And just like terms and conditions, it will be ultimately ignored and people will just agree to it without actually reading it. Most posts that are created on the forum simply involve posting in the proper sub-forum(which is not always easy admittedly), and treating all users with respect, and if an issue arises, reporting to us to deal with it.

Like you should read whole 500 page document that Windows comes with. Or terms for warranty. But nobody really does that and then cry later when they found out that dropping phone and breaking glass isn't included in warranty.

What are the rules on bumping threads if you never got a response? In my case it wasn't in one of the sub-forums with no additional rules.

I think general rule is to allow 48h. Usually no response means no one knows the answer.

I think in some thread it was said that 6 hours is enough for a bump?

If I'm not wrong there is no sobforum where a thread gets moved to 2nd page in less then 24 hours so that should be fine imo.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

Well, since this is international forum, it would be polite to allow all those who browse daily see it before bumping. 48h would add all those who don't browse so often.

You may bump a thread every 24 hours per the standards found in Classifieds. That is what we decided upon as a universal rule for every thread that exists.

This only applies if the last response you got was 24 hours ago, or if you got no response after creating the thread 24 hours ago.

^^^ This is good to know, because I bump my own threads, on the rare occasion.

I'm the only one who reads the terms and conditions? o.O If you don't, Apple will break into your home and turn you into a living iPad!
