I don't care about the iphone . I just want to know more about the a10 . If there's one thing i admire apple for , it's there chips .

I sold my AAPL stocks earlier this week. Glad I did as I see a bad path for Apple. I didn’t want the rumors to be true, but I think they are. However, MOST LIKELY, the iPhone 7 line will be slightly thinner, slightly faster, look almost the same, minus the antenna bands moved to the top and bottom, have 2 speakers, no headphone jack, a larger camera hump, 2 cameras on the 7 plus, and basically a whole lot more of the same. It is unfortunate. I think the iPhone 4 was the last good iPhone. The iPhone is responsible for essentially 50% of their revenue. 

 

RIP Apple. I am breaking up with you. 

 

They do have a Hail Mary play though. The Apple electric, self-driving car they are working on with google and BMW, I believe. Long shot and far away though.

Btw, in theyr website there is Iphone 7, Iphone 7+, Iphone 7 Plus and Iphone 7 Pro, but those are simply reliant on the level of gold and precious stones so theres only really 2 different devices. Now why can you only buy 128GB on the Iphone 7 Pro is weird, when they say it has 256GB options.

Whhhhaaaaat? Removing the 3.5mm jack didn't make the phone thinner? Wow! It's almost like its a gimmick that forces customers already overpaying, to overpay for an adapter to be able to use their headphones! What kind of madness is this?! Apple has never done that before!

Apple just continuing their war against consumers, yet again. They're going to end up removing the lightning port next all together, forcing people to buy special apple certified wireless charging docks, that'll cost 3 times as much as normal. And then you'll need special apple certified bluetooth earbuds to be able to listen to music. If other's can make thinner devices WITHOUT removing io, then so should apple. But then again, them removing io cuts production cost, and makes the customer buy more dongles and adapters for every little thing, in return making apple more money.

Sorry about that, I just thought it would be an interesting move by Apple to use 3.0 on the Pro model. If it turns out to be true (anyone's guess at this point) I guess it would be because it's meant for people who transfer a lot of photos/videos via a USB cable and the speeds would benefit them.

Not sure how much i believe of this since all the most recent rumors I've heard is, the Pro model is scrapped because they can now produce the dual lens camera thing at a lower enough cost for it to be in all models, also 16gb model is supposed to be gone making 32gb the base model. But hey this is what you get with rumors lol.

I don't see why people are mad. IT HAS A USB PORT NOT LIGHTING. Which means the audio jack and go. If androids got rid of it headphones would just be USB not 3.5mm which is fine by me. The specs though seem pretty bad. But the A10 is suppose to be great. Also this is IOS 2gb of RAM is plenty. A bigger battery would be nice

Yes because extra adapters are needed, and a phone has to be thinner than the 3.5mm jack allows totally... ESP if you want it to bend... Besides there is a perfectly good 2.5mm jack that has existed for ages that won't need completely redesigned headphones and less efficient power draining external dacs (since the phone already has a DAC for the speakers why the fuck should it run a separate one for the external audio).

Hold your horses. It's not explicitly stated that Apple switches ports. Remember that Lightning is USB compatible and that the iPad Pro for example supports USB 3.0 while sporting a Lightning port. I'm inclined to believe that all this means is a status quo on the regular models and a USB 3.0 chip in the Pro or Plus model (the spec sheets in the OP are very inconsistent and conspicuous) just like with the iPad.

That is if we avoid discussing the fact that it sounds more like a made-up spec sheet than an actual leak.

It's still a Lightning connector. GSMArena, for example, lists the 6S as having a "USB v2.0, reversible". I don't think Apple would switch to Type-C, cause they're Apple and they want their MFi cables that cost just as much as a cheap ass dumb phone.

That and I don't think it violates any EU law which could have been a big problem. The EU will implement a universal standard for chargers whenever they find the capacity to come to an agreement but I don't believe it will affect the ports on the device itself; just that the port on the AC adapter needs to be universal meaning they will all probably just use USB-A (don't think it's in the cards either in the EU or in the tech industry to move the adapter to USB-C) to achieve that, which means pretty much all chargers today are compliant including Lightning (I think).
