Clever Pirate Finds A Way To Upload Movies To YouTube

Getting around YouTube’s copyright protections is an incredibly hard thing to do in recent times, but one brave soul managed to crack the code in an unusual way. The pirate, who goes by the name Thuy Pham, figured out that by embedding a movie inside a 360-degree video, one can skirt YouTube’s Content ID detection system.

Normally, Content ID compares videos against a database of copyrighted content provided by its creators. If there’s a match, it gets taken down. But Pham’s technique confuses the algorithm by using another, non-copyrighted 360-degree video.

this is not only interesting, but also, I don't think it will take too long untill this goes away

That's genius.. But terrible! Yeah, terrible! Bad pirate! Not good!

 

But still, this is pretty darn smart... Although the quality would be terrible.

this is cool, but bad. because noone goes around on the web watching them on other places do they?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

lol who would make this a popular bit of news and not expect to be suspended? lol unless it was only a test but interestingly enough it was 

 

This account has been suspended due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube's policy against spam, gaming, misleading content, or other Terms of Service violations.

 

no copyright violations, so youtube is really butt hurt that someone found a way around there protections lol
