That's not true but OK. It really depends on what you're doing with your CPU and since games already utilise the extra threads available with a Core i7, a cheaper Ryzen is most certainly a better buy for the next few years over an i5.

Dude I'm not gonna open a server using my PC or do lots streaming and multicrap but I don't know about Ryzen being the best for future , I think Intel is doing a good job providing great CPU over the past years and we all know AMD comes after providing competition that's all but not beating Intel with overall performance.

I'm not a fanboy but I'm seeing facts, I would go for ryzen 5 if I build a lower budget pc

Except that it's made with low quality components.

How does the sales page indicate it should be tier 2 or 3?

Glad to see that thread is still being shared.

The stock photo they use is the same picture they use for the EVGA 430/500W, so it is likely exactly the same as the 450/500/600B

@Energycore though i guess we shouldn't complain too much, $20 is pretty good for a PSU that just plain works.

Yeah of course don't assume it's not a bomb just because EVGA, but $20 for something way better than a Diablotek is real nice.

FSP Hexa is tier 7? Why is that?

Because it literally goes out of spec with its voltage. That means just by using it you're at risk of damaging your computer

Shit components, shit electrical performance etc.
You know there's something wrong in the PSU when it only has 2 year warranty

Warranty means shite, the EVGA NEX Gold has a 10-year warranty. And on the other hand the Antec BP350 PSU that I got my brother is much safer than a Hexa and also has 2 year warranty.

I see you play invoker

I know they're all different makes but if it's closer to the B2 or BQ that would be nice.  I'd venture though it's a revision of the HEC b1.

well even their shitty N1 lineup still worked at full power(though I'd never trust it), i don't really think they'd go any worse than it.

when the top-end raidmax 80+ titanium PSU that's actually really good has 2 years warranty while mediocre NEX gets 10 years

I also wonder how the B3 compares to the CXM. Same price and fully modular.

CX-M grey is semi modular

B3 has better components (Japan caps etc) but both have sleeved bearing fan which has shorter lifespan

I would still stick to Corsair SF series when it comes to SFX PSU even though the Enermax unit is excellent. (Edit: The only thing I would complain is the sleeved bearing fan)

Good build quality, cheapest yet good enough Titanium rated efficiency PSU, should be in tier 2
But anyway, Raidmax is shit in making PSUs (wait did they even make their own PSUs?)

most, if not all their psus are andyson made, they don't build it themselves. andyson is Build-to-order according to Johnnyguru IIRC so no surprises that this one is great.
