yes. when intel have been working on ht for so many years yet they have never improved it then get beaten by smt that is only in its first gen :P.

Technically hyperthreading is SMT :P

But this is very funny, AMD reverse engineered Intel's hyperthreading and managed to make it better than Intel's xD

It would be a good idea to sell them, delidded and binned on ebay. You can make MORE money in this way :P (Sell them for $400 each)

Oh, I've sold quite of few already.  This is my second batch.  I've gone through about 30 before these 50 showed up.

 

It's cool seeing how much variance there is between chips.  Surprisingly, there isn't a lot on the low end.  The fast ones set themselves apart greatly, but the low end are pretty much all the same.  

 

That's why when a see a thread about someone not being able to overclock their 7700k, I know chances are high that they're an idiot.

You need to be extremely unlucky or completely clueless to not be able to overclock your 7700K to 5GHz...
