intel has some weird magic going on with the reverse hyper-threading as that's a great score for a stock clock.

980 matrix @ 1792|9000 on cold water @ 1.556 with universal GPU block (not sure of actual volts since no DMM)

24/7 is at 4.2 , 1.39325v , score 480

at stock i don't even.....

Use CPU-Z instead of Task Manager for an accurate CPU clock speed.

the turbo on mine 3.9ghz on all cores, but what i meant was (but being an idiot) is when i was running the single thread cpu test all 4 cores where around 30-40% with nothing else running, it's just a weird observation really, as i wouldn't expect a 6600k to match a 4.4ghz 4770k.

Fair enough, that sounds about right though... I will mention that 166 is a pretty bad score for a 4.4 GHz Haswell.

 

I was able to hit 180 at 4.5 single core on Haswell-E (which obviously uses the same arch)

i'd possibly say your score could be down to the extra cache, or how well binned the cpu is, and i'm just in awe by how much faster my 6600k is compared to the old 2630qm i had.
