i'm aiming for the top 5 at the very least. over 900 should be doable. it will be that last 20cb which will e hard to beat. good job i've got a silver arrow.

I'm currently hunting around on eBay for a good 3570K. My current one will not do R15 at 4.8GHz no matter what.

I'm currently hunting around on eBay for a good 3570K. My current one will not do R15 at 4.8GHz no matter what. 

thats funny because i know of a decent one which will do 5ghz. i'll ask my mate. i have borrowed it before and used it to get the current 2nd highest 3570k score. its not the best voltage wise but it hasn't been used that much and i haven't tried it with ram faster than 1600mhz, so it should be able to get the highest score.

My old Vengeance RAM can't do 2133MHz 10-10-10-27 @1.55V.

 

These Samsung sticks are far, far better, 2200MHz 9-10-10-21 @1.55V. Having issues going to 2400MHz though. Will probably lower CPU speed.

LN2 cooled RAM on the SPD tab ;)

The score would be through the roof. And the 5960X would be the bottleneck.

That last XMP profile has been there since I updated the BIOS. Board still won't load XMP settings correctly, have to manually plug values. Reeeeally want a TUF Sabranco X99 to come out, I'd drop the Deluxe in a heartbeat.

Since i have both my 8 pin CPU connectors plugged in i might be able to hold 4.8 or 5.0GHz. Maybe maybe not.

There's a stock 3570K on R15 doing 504cb. You must have fast RAM? Most if not all chips are unlocked or overclockable on the database.
