There's a stock 3570K on R15 doing 504cb. You must have fast RAM? Most if not all chips are unlocked or overclockable on the database.

rams only 1600, i do have a baseclock increase though. so that's probably it. ill post a screen in a few mins

Beating a overclocked 2500K and a stock 3570K. You should do a R15 run and include a CPU-Z screenshot along with a notepad doc with your name on it. That's the LGA1155 table.

really jelly (jealous) that you have a 980. Jumper i think is the main updater of the datasheets. Pretty nice score anyway.

I am going to ditch both my GTX 660s to get the 980 HOF card hopefully.

1cb off. Just ONE. Also the difference between a mid clocked 4690K v a high-ish clocked 3570K is amazing.

GeForce GTX 660 has seen a nice little jump in performance with the Core i5-2500K and so has the GTX 780 (still scored 86fps though, I'm confused).

Drivers and SLI settings were my problem. Had to downgrade the drivers to get SLI happy, but my cards are fairly old, then the OpenGL booted up fine.

This is what i can do with my maximus V gene and small cooler. it runs very cool, but the voltage does scale as well as i had hoped. still a decent score for 4.8ghz though.

bit disappointing :(

i know. its not maxed out yet. that board won't let me do bclk overclocking for some reason. i think with the silver arrow and the mpower i will be able to run 4.9-5ghz on all cores and 5-5.1ghz single thread. its has fallen a bit short at the top end. at 4.6ghz on 1.325v it maxes out at 56c, which is pretty damn cold. i haven't tried 4.7ghz, but that will probably end up being my 24/7 oc. somewhere between 4.6ghz and 4.8ghz it starts scaling really badly :(. it will also run my ram at 2200 cl9 which will be better than the usual 2400 cl10 for super pi and wprime.

4.6-4.7GHz is what i run 24/7. Nice medium.

Can you get a fairly high clock on all 4 cores? with HT?

not really. one or 2 of the cores are much worse unfortunately. i will run it at 4.625ghz on 1.35v normally, but i think i might sell it and get a better clocking one or maybe upgrade it to a sandybridge :P

I'm doing 4.7GHz at 1.36V. You might want to try and get a better clocker. Or 'upgrade' to Sandy Bridge.

Need some general advice from you guys. The time is rapidly approaching to burn in my gaming box on cinebench. Finally installing the G3258 I've had lying around for 2 months.

Question is: how likely is it that I will completely blow out my Z97i-Plus by throwing 1.45-1.5v at the G3258? I've only had one board ever die on me and coincidentally it was another Z97i-plus that blew with AIDA64 and a 4690k (1.27v). Now I do realize that the board was a complete fluke and something was physically wrong in the first place, but I've never thrown that kind of voltage at a CPU, not sure what to really expect.

with a pentium being so low power you should be ok up to pretty high voltage. it will depend on the current draw. it a true 6+2 power phase so it should be ok. its actaully a pretty nice vrm and power phase system :)
