I have a brain.  I know you aren't cold and snowy year round.  Canada is actually on average a lot warmer than some parts of the South during the winter, but that's also thanks to your cold fronts + currents from the Atlantic, and some damn awful geography.

Minnesota is certainly cold and snowy all year round.3.0

Minnesota doesn't want Trump. We'd rather Bernie or shockingly Rubio. Can we please join Canada?

To be honest,

I'll give you the rundown of Canadian's views on American politics:

"Who the hell are these stupid candidates?  One is a criminal, and the other is a complete nutbar.  What are the American's doing? "

It honestly makes us feel good to live in Canada LOL xD

I'll see what I can do to pull strings with the Ministry of Immigration/Customs lol

It's OK though, because here's the rundown of Canadian Political Drama from one of our main news outlets:

http://globalnews.ca/politics/

Exciting stuff, eh??

Our Prime Minister was elected because he was Liberal, he is legalizing weed, and the girls think he's hot.  Literally, those are the three reasons!  (I really dislike him)

I think Cannabis should be legalized but it does need to have the same stipulations or regulations that Alcohol has.

The thing I think that has me kinda on the fence with Trudeau though is his Feminist views. I mean I think that some things are needing fixing to make women more equal to men but I think that can be achieved with out coming across as sexist yourself or needing feminism at all. I understand that 20th century feminism was really important and that everyone benefited from it. But 21st century feminism kinda seems like by trying to say that they're not sexist but then kinda being sexist themselves really kills it for them. That's why I think Egalitarianism and Humanitarianism are much better ways of approaching the issues that remain. It has nothing to do with the fem- prefix, it's just that it sort of implies that one sex is superior over another which is not what Egalitarianism or Humanism imply.

Regardless, I think Trudeau will be a better PM than Harper. Justin isn't going to live up to his dad's legacy but that's fine. Canada just needed to get that Bush wannabe out.

Do you understand that there isn't such a thing as a secular indoctrination that discourages looking into other views?

Let's see, you want to outlaw children going to church, thus showing a desire to censor and/or silence. You do not want to discourage people from looking into other views, but you do want to forbid them from evaluating certain views.

You respect the points of others by posting things like that Kissing Hank's Ass video. You were correct in pointing out the cherry picking fallacy, but you just could not leave it at that, you had to throw in ridicule, also.

Here's some sauce to sort of support my claim about Minnesota and Canada being pretty decent trading partners. Though, maybe some of that stuff is coming from other parts of the US and going through Minnesota to go to Canada.

Minnesota–Canada trade

  • Minnesota exports to Canada: $4.4 billion
  • Minnesota imports from Canada: $8.7 billion
  • Bilateral trade: $13.1 billion
  • Minnesota services exports to Canada: $896 million

That's a decent amount!  I didn't think Minnesota imports that much from Canada.

Like I said, I'm not sure how much of that is actually coming directly from Minnesota and directly going to Minnesota. Other American companies or what ever might be treating Minnesota as like a front for trading goods and services.

But I can imagine that there could be some benefit for Minnesota and Canada joining. But of course that's easier said than done since it rely on Texas being successful in leaving the Union and then Minnesota would have to try the same, and then if it wants to join Canada then, the Canadians have to accept it. So it could be a mess.

But it's still fun to dream about Minnesota one day being free from the bullshit that the US is becoming. Because like you said the US is either going to elect a Criminal (Clinton) or a lunatic (Trump). I'm not actually sure if there's any good amount of Minnesotans who actually wouldn't mind leaving the US for Canada if Texas was able to leave the Union successfully. Propaganda could influence that decision though.

Well all I know is that the GBP is no longer free falling and regained a bit of value. But it's still no where near what it was a few days ago. I'm not sure if the current loss in value of the Pound is actually what it would've costed the UK to pay in EU membership dues for 40 years.

"The banks" as in all banks? No. "The banks" as in those that prepared for the UK leaving in advance? Yes. Basically, anyone with a large reserve of negotiable instruments and prepared for the vote to going as it did is probably in the process of increasing their wealth.

I wouldn't be surprised if people blamed the UK leaving the EU on Trump because the anti-Trump and fear mongering the world pushes in the idea of Trump becoming president is absolutely hilarious. xD What could happen that is so bad? He drones innocent children? Oh wait, Obama already does that and nobody gives a fark. Could it be that he tries to take people's freedom and American rights away? Naw, that can't be right, nobody cares about that. Hmm...

LOL looking to drag Trump into everything as usual. As far as I'm concerned he has nothing to do with it. It was driven by Nigel Farage (who has been a figure for a long time) and was decided by the British.

As far as I'm aware no one is benefiting from this as of yet, the climate is just to unstable at the moment with all the possible negotiations. On the plus side I've read that Canada are willing to talk about free trade agreements so there is a light at the end of the tunnel :-)

If people changed their money into dollars on the day before the referrendm then changed it back inton pounds the day after, they'd have made a tidy profit from Brexit.
