What color should i paint my room?

Im going to be repainting my room, but IDK what color to do. I want it too be a little lighter than what I have now, as it makes my room dark. 
I also want to kind of have a 70's/80's/rock theme going, with my records on the wall, my beatles poster, maby some more posters if I can find a nice Styx poster.

 

What do you think?

Well I like white walls, like 99.999% of scandinavia xD 

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

I removed my floor carpet for a reason, don't want to multiply that by 4x. :)

Do a two tone color scheme like my neighbor's garage. 3/4 of the wall (the bottom) is one shade, the top fourth is another shade. Alternatively do what my house is like, which is EVERY WALL WHITE. Not joking, there is not a single colored wall in the entire house

Two tone coould work, especially for 70's. Maybe orange and brown.... or something else...

I'd suggest doing something like mine, but this is all custom to some cabinetry we had installed. It works really well with what we did. Sooo... +1 for two or three tone?

Umm, not really. LTT is orange, grey, and hexagons, this is orange, blue, other blue, and angles.
