Posted May 28, 2016 Sooo it doesn't look like the board partner cards are even more expensive than the FE edition. But of course they are, you get a better cooler for your money. The cards are supposed to ship in "2-3 weeks". But when it comes to low end stuff the prices are as expected, there is maybe a 30-40$ difference, but that's OK because of import taxes. But you can't have a 200$ import tax on a single GPU tho Athlon X2 for only 27.31$ Best part lists at different price points Windows 1.01 running natively on an Eee PC My rig: Spoiler Celeronator (new main rig) CPU: Intel Celeron (duh) N2840 2.16GHz Dual Core RAM: 4GB DDR3 1333MHz HDD: Seagate 500GB GPU: Intel HD Graphics 3000 Series Spoiler Frankenhertz (ex main rig) CPU: Intel Atom N2600 1.6GHz Dual Core RAM: 1GB DDR3-800 HDD: HGST 320GB GPU: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 3600
 Posted May 28, 2016 At least EVGA SC is $50 cheaper then the FE. Asus Strix at this price point isn't worth it, but it looks like a really solid card - the cooler looks massive for a 180W TDP GPU. I wonder why the mixed their branding and called it ROG Strix... but at least they got rid off the creepy owl look. 16 minutes ago, xAcid9 said: Haha, sucks for you guys. 1080 Fanboy Edition only cost $855 here and my 33c climate will definitely show the true potential of that cooler. /s The question is - Can you make it throttle below stock frequencies in normal use case scenarios? The "premium" aluminium shroud might have some real usage in such case. From salty to bath salty in 2.9 seconds
