It's neither an issue nor a bug - it's just a question about the forum.

There is no hard limit to either of them, and it depends on a lot more than just the points that you have. The points are effectively just a way of us expressing to you how bad what you did was.

but anyways, lets say you got on warning point, then it expired and then you got another then that expired and then another.....

can this go on for ever?

or is there a limit to how many warning points you can have?

also, how many can you have at once?

So, is there an official scale or is it totally arbitrary and random?

well, its more so an easy way for the mods to tell you you did a bad than an actual metric from what i understand. i've seen bans of people with a clean history, i've seen people stash up points as if collectibles.
