Anyone Excited for the upcoming Pascal/Polaris and Broadwell-E??

Hello Pc Enthusiast,

Aren't you excited about the upcoming pascal/polaris and broadwell-e this summer?

Because I am

Seriously can't wait for it to be release.

Well,I just gonna say that and i'll meet you at this years computex :D

Question :-

  1. any chance the hasswell-e would be drop in price when broadwell-e get release?
  2. pascal vs polaris... which side are you on? Give a reason.

This years tech is awesome...kinda make me believe that we're in the future with all the stuff that's coming including Zen

Note* Zen releasing late 2016 right? Because I heard it is.Link me if you know something :)

I never buy new PC parts. I usually buy used PC parts as they have really awesome price/performance (if I can avoid buying new of course). Therefore I am not excited for pascal/Polaris because the GPUs will be faster, but because the price of used PC parts will drop yet again, giving me even more price/performance. I found the perfect picture on imgur to describe me:

if someone out there can just make a damn all white E-socket motherboard, i'd like to make the switch and go up a couple cores for more than just gaming.

Don't fail me now as i've failed you then.

I'm not interested in Pascal or Broadwell-E

I'm mostly looking forward to Polaris/Arctic Islands and Zen FX.

Kaby Lake and Cannonlake might be interesting, though I plan on building my first PC with Skylake. (i5 6600K to be exact).

Eh, I'm not against Intel... Hell, I want to use an i5 6600K but I want to see AMD succeed so maybe that makes me a fan.

I just don't care much for Nvidia and since Carribean Islands there hasn't been too much reason to go Nvidia unless driver stability is something you really need.

(I know AMD drivers aren't that good I've had a couple laptops with AMD CPUs)

The one I currently use, catalyst control center likes to crash every so often (I'm not sure if Crimson is available for the A8 6410, though not sure why it wouldn't.)

Can't wait for Broadwell-E, because that's when I'm gonna upgrade to X99.

As for Pascal and Polaris, currently I'm excited for Pascal because we've seen some of it so far and we know it'll be amazing for computer, but we haven't seen anything for Polaris. So, if AMD pulls a rabbit out of their hat, I'll be excited for that too.

Personally no, ever since Hasewell came out (time period) nothing really worth while to me has come out. The tech industry has been rather boring the past 5 years ish but VR technology has definitely been quite amazing, other than that ehhh nothing exciting and IMO just more over hyped Intel products like Skylake was. Hopefully the GPUs are something to enjoy :)

I try to not be excited for hardware release, it generally end in disappointment.
I'll wait for Vega.
