I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

yeah it can "damage" your parts, aka kill them

it can also "damage" stuff that arent parts, such as your entire house

In general Cooler Master and other decent brands won't outright kill other components, but it's possible.

450 isn't much OC headroom anyway. I doubt you'll hurt anything, but it'll probably be unstable

The Cooler Master GM are decent DC-DC regulated PSU made by CWT. Unless you are strike with bad luck, you shouldn't need to worry about it damaging your components.
