TBH, you probably shouldn´t use the PCMasterRace tier list.

On pretty much any "tier" list, I often find myself asking why certain units are place where they are. It's better to compare two units individually at the price that it is set at and pick the one that is best for your needs rather than relying on such a list.

 

That PCMR list is pretty much a copy and paste version of Tomshardware's old list that got abandoned and remade by someone else.

 

Edit: If you want a PSU recommendation, provide some info:

What is your budget in your currency?

Can you provide links to store(s) you are able to buy from?

What will the PSU be powering? What is your expected upgrades - SLI/CFX?

Oh yah, my friend's cx 500 fried his 770 and i7 3770k when it blew up...at lease corsair replaced everything for him...including giving him a RM series PSU...

Completely killing is usually an extreme. What most people seem to forget is that a power supply with poor voltage stability will decrease the lifespan of the rest of the computer. So while it may not blow it up like TNT, it may take small nibbles at it over time.
