What are some of your best purchases ever? Either because of a good price, a price increase later, or you just love the product and use it a lot (more than expected).

For me this would probably be my GameCube, which I bought somewhere in 2011. Use it a LOT and it wasn't expensive (compared to the price the system goes for now and just in general).

Same for my GBA (I bought in 2006 or something). Sadly it broke, but my GBA SP (AGS-001 model) is awesome too, as it was very cheap and I use it a lot. My graphics tablet (Wacom Intuos Pen Small, 2015? 2014?) is a good purchase too, after I really got used to it. This 5 port gigabit switch is also a good purchase.

Well what about you?

In general it has to be the my copy of the blood edition of Remains Of A Ruined Dead Cursed Soul LP.

I think I payed around €100 for it. It goes for a well over €1000 today.

Tech related it would probably be my Shure SE846s. I got them for a steal and they sound amazing.

GBA sp...got it in 2005...still have it sitting on my table (and it's my first gaming console/the thing that introduced me to gaming...)

My first SSD...been in 3 different devices, it gave life to my 2008 laptop again in 2014 and then it powered my current machine for 4 days while I waited royal mail to get off their asses and deliver the damn 256gb ssd (crucial mx100 as well) and finally my current laptop :D

My sony a65...I still need to find the funds to get a better set of lens...(I'm the most clumsy person ever...dropped it twice since owning it for 2 years...both times from 1.5m~ onto concrete, sometimes it comes up with an error when I try to take a shot but else, still completely flawless :D)

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

get some monies and get a GPU, SSD and a PSU for dat thing when you can afford it (or even go with a 750ti or a 950 that doesn't require any additional power so you can drop the PSU upgrade) and you've got a good and capable gaming PC no?

A set of Zalman coolers.

When I bought my Athlon XP back in the day the system was so loud  I really had headaches when using my computer. Then I bought a CNPS6000-Cu, a passive heatsink for the graphic card and and another for the northbridge.

Since I had a very silent PSU (made by fortron) and the quietest HDD ever (a 40 GB seagate) I went from headaches to "is that on?" even when CPU was 100%.

In a way I wish I never got that first computer, I'm way too invested into the whole thing financially and mentally.

My life would be so different had I not got that first computer 3 years ago (I was 12).

Deep I know.

My cmstorm quick fire rapid with blues is probably the best purchase I've ever made. It feels the same right now after four years of abuse as it did when I first took it out of the box. While that's mostly cherry's fault, the combo of cooler master's work with cherry switches is simply sublime and if it's not the best purchase I've ever made, it's certainly the best $80 I've ever spent. It's increased my typing speed and accuracy which has been very helpful as a student, so yeah, I'm pretty damn pleased.

1) Pilot Super Grip 0.5. That mechanical pencil was SO good, I used it for 5 years until Pentel's P205 took it's position. Only because I lost it. :(

2) Casio FX-991 ES Plus. Pure magic with that calculator. Switched from the old FX-991 MS Plus, boy that was so worth it. Bought around 2010, still have it, and use it to this day.

3) Pentel Super Hi-Polymer Lead. FINALLY found a lead pack that doesn't break.

4) My Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. Bought June 2014, paid full price (unlocked, contract free) for the phone, and couldn't be any happier with it. I have used and abused this device to its limits (almost hard bricked it) and yet it stands just as strong as the day it arrived. Still rocking great to this day, and will use it as long as it lives. :^)

Some features of the phone worth mentioning:

Magnetic charging port. This is WTF grade good, and saved me a million times opening flaps to charge my phone.

The phone size and form factor. Just a Godsend. A pleasure to hold on one the hand (except the speaker grille, it has mildly sharp edges, but enough to irritate me) and I don't even use a case for that reason. Rough use is actual use for me. :D

Device performance. It screams performance. Talk about being "future-proof" lolz.

Camera. Holy, you can take some good pictures with it.

UI. I never appreciated Sony's UI until I used a Samsung tablet. TouchWiz's record breaking bloat and slowness made me scream and cry internally. Also, small apps are a REALLY, REALLY handy feature. It's like a mechanic's tool chest waiting to be filled with so useful tools like Screen ON, Currency Converter, Oxford Dictionary, System Monitor (ghetto riva tuner statistics server for mobile lol), and Media (Picture/Video/YouTube) Viewer/Player that really helped me leverage what the Small App Framework had to offer. Mind you it's an overlay and even stays over apps, so the possibilities (especially multitasking) are endless.

Battery, and Sony's power saving features. If nothing impressed you so far, this is by far it's biggest trump card.

Even the earphones that came with it are very good. ^_^

5) DualShock 4 Controller. It's amazing. Yeah, the battery life is shockingly short, but boy the sensitivity on the analog sticks! It made playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 a breeze, and the DS4 drivers made by good people like Scarlet Crush and Jays2Kings just gets better and better. I just wish the last few of its features (PC audio though the controller's audio jack) gets exposed by the drivers soon.

Other purchases I made (Rosewill RIMP-11002 , Logitech M500, WD Re 2TB, Thermaltake ST0020U and my most expensive purchase yet, a ThinkPad T450s) have yet to prove its worth yet, simply because I haven't used them for long enough to pass a good judgement, but I've extensively used the mouse and the inexpensive mouse and mouse-pad for Counter-Strike Source, and it has served me very well. ^_^

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.
