Well.  That was totally not.. disappointing?  Really wish more news would've come out about Polaris.  Like.. maybe an elaboration on why HBM2 is being shown of on Vega instead of Polaris.  Curiosity on what GPU model that was for the R7, etc.  Y'know.  Normal stuff.

And its gone!!! well it was okay but they definitely had to say something more about Polaris other that a low power chip can run a game at 1440p 60fps

I think we can all agree that everyone wanted to hear more about Polaris, and we didn't really give a shit about the Radeon Pro Duo. Neat. But Niche.

 

But I guess the entire thing was VR focused. We should learn more about Polaris shortly, I'd imagine.

I'm really impressed by how the Pro Duo's watercooling works on the PCB. It looks really sexy, they should have opted to put some type of plexi window on it.

Does anyone know if they are going to be letting GPU companies build their own versions or will it be locked down to a reference design?
