Meaning, aslong as the hardware supports it, there is NOTHING holding you back from getting Win10 and DX12. NOTHING. Except if you run Vista or XP... but really, who still play games using Vista or XP?

Aye, DX12 being W10 exclusive is such a dickpunch.

 

W10 Is a POS. So many compatibility issues, and so much data collection (with the exception of enterprise edition).

 

I wont be using W10, though if I can find a version of enterprise edition that is updated to remove bugs and as many compatibility issues as possible, THEN I may use I as it 'should' have the option of turning off all data collection (unlike 'normal' versions which have data collection on even if u turn off the available options).

Saying that, it's probably a driver issue, did they list what driver they where having issues with at all? I know Nvidia's latest driver had some people complaining about something, so it could be related to that...

Um how can this be even remotely compared to Gameworks?  DX 12 is a Microsoft product that has an open API.  Gameworks(not) is an Nvidia product that is completely closed meaning AMD has no way of using the code.

somewhat increased performance in general - positive

 

so yea i see no reason to stick with windows 7. don't like the invasive win 10 features, disable them. done.
