At that size and speed it's perfect for a boot disk and work space for video editing or game programming a current project.

2. Wait 7 days (or less than 7 days if you're signing up after February 8).

3. Check back on the forum to see if you've won! All winners will be PMed here on the forum, so make sure you have email notifications for PMs turned on. Winners will have 3 days to respond.

This is a worldwide giveaway with no age restrictions, so everyone is welcome to take part!

Best of luck :D

Are you kidding?  I won't even build a computer without recommending an ssd. They just make the entire systems faster in to many tasks to not use them.

I have an aging Samsung hard drive. It does do it's job, but an SSD would be... let's see... over 9000% faster. Oh and, everyone should have an SSD, because I'm going nuts by clicking HDDs.

First of all, a great thanks to Apacer for providing the SSD's for this giveaway !!! :D

I was considering buying a new SSD because currently I run my system on a 120 GB SSD, which gives me not that much space for my game library :( So winning this giveaway would save me a lot of money, because I wouldn't have to buy one myself.

And the reason why everyone should have an SSD in their system? I mean, cmon guys, it's 2016 xD everyone should be booting from an SSD, or maybe some of you want to wait an eternity before booting your system up :D

I got enough money to buy one but my parents won't let me i don't get it i don't have one but my dad has one also my friendes even my grandfather have one. Im one the pc every day for hours it takes forever to startup and really slow on the internet. The reason why my parents won't let me buy one it because i use to many money on my pc even though i only have bought a R9 390. And it's not because we don't have a lot of money they wont let me buy one but we aren't rich either. I would be so happy to get an ssd :)

My new build needs an ssd  but it will have to wait til I get the money.

You could save me from having to reinstall windows in a few months by doing it in a few weeks.

With this giveaway, I finally join the LinusTechTips boards, so hello to everyone!

Why would I need an Apacer AS330?

Well, mostly because I am building a mid-range budget PC, since I am quite behind with current technologies, running at the moment a seven year old veteran that has been telling me for quite a while that is time for a retirement.

Most of my components are currently purchased, the necessary ones at least, and are waiting for the right moment to be assembled. During all this time, I've only rocked hard drives and although I saw Linus squeezing a SSD in every build he makes, showing how snappy a PC can be with one, I've never actually had the place for one in my budget. I find this as an opportunity to see if Linus is right about a little 2.5 inch piece of hardware putting HDDs to shame and why not start with something that's top quality, like Apacer?

I don't really know what the average performance of a SSD is, but I know that the SSDs in my local shop are about half slower than the AS330 Panther is and as I said before, if this is my chance to get to try a SSD, let it be something that would leave me a good impersion, let it be Apacer.

I just have a way too small SSD for only OS and some all-day use programs. So a new one would be really nice.

My 500GB HDD, which is the only Hard Drive in my PC, is stacked with my Porn and I need an SSD to have some more space for Porn and load it much faster.

Thanks.

I think I need this SSD card for a few reasons:

1: I don't even have an SSD card and my hard drive is 500g at 6g/s

2: my computer is 5 years old

3: I hope this will help speed up my computer because I only have 4g of ddr2         ram*

4: I just want more storage space too

*i know having faster storage and better ram are different things but either way my computer sucks in every area.

I want an SSD because i'm currently building my own rig (first time) and this would be a great addition!

Everyone should get an SSD to experience extra crispy boot times and for just an overall faster computer (compared to mechanical hard drives, of course).
