The rads won't have any fans for sure but there will be x3 120mm fans that will draw air out of the case through the ducts [ADS] I am working on.
That will effectively draw cool air from outside to the inside of the case.

  • x2 Laing D5 [MCP655]
  • 1200ml Custom res [T-Virus Evolved]
  • 1560mm of rad space [x2 480+360+240]

The loop itself is, the build isn't ;)

When I tried passively cooling I turned every fan off for around 3 hours and everything got to around 50c on GPUS, 55c on CPU while watching movies in full screen.

But it doesn't really make a difference since my HDD makes more noise than my fans so it's a bit dumb for me to passively cool haha  xD

UPDATE: Custom 11 Litre Reservoir !

Personal Note: Sorry for not being in touch with you guys for so long, didn't really wanted to come here empty handed !

I was both overwhelmed with personal and professional workload but finally had some help and now I am back working on my beloved case.

Stay tuned for some cool stuff  :D

ADS Relocation: After some epic failures with my Air Duct System, I had to rethink the design and it's placement on the case.

Finally it looks promising but that's another days discussion, now on to the cool stuff !

Custom 11 Litre Reservoir: After the ADS relocation, I had the room for a larger reservoir and it will add a significant delay on the rise of the water temperature.

If you think about it the 11 litres is actually a genius idea since the rads will be passively cooled meaning that when the warm coolant returns to this massive reservoir it will have a lot of time to naturally cool down before it goes back to cool the components. Not sure if that was the intention but I would assume that it is the reason for it's massive size

This is what i think of when silence is uttered. Passive is truly silent. Good work OP.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. The True Path of the Feathered One. ~ Dimboble-dubabob III

LED's are coming right up  B)

That reservoir looks awesome!!! but I think it may need more carbon fibre (re-using the old pun xD)

Thank you, It's great to be back. (man you oughta love that pun xD)

Damn, you're still working on this?! Woah.

Until it's done or till for forever  :D

Actually I do !

According to this calculation:

post-22033-0-52756700-1410684153_thumb.j

This reservoir will heat up to 85c in just about 4hrs at 200W TDP load.

However, if the ADS works even at 15% efficiency along with the 25c ambient room temp - It should last 4/5 times that  :)

It's not a bug, it's an undocumented feature!
