Best Way to get Windows Cheap?

Is there anyway to get windows cheap or for free? I don't care if it's windows 7 or windows 8! Desperate need of help

For free no, if you want a cheap copy get an OEM version from Newegg, NCIX or other retailers.

The only way to get it for free is pirating and we all know that that is sort of illegal. just barely though lol

Maybe, but how often do you really want to change motherboard? Aren't you that guy who want to modify that MPower? It will last you a looong time, so that's not a problem. Besides, if you really think you'll change motherboard soon, get the retail version instead.

Yes I wanted to modify the mpower but it voids the warranty :(.... but I guess I'll go with oem.. windows 8 is cheaper than windows 7 pro guess I'll get that

deactivate win 7 on a computer you never use, bam windows 7 fo free, not illegal

I had it on my laptop.. but thats broken now haha

How does the retail version compare to the OEM? Like what are the defining differences?

problem is I think it's home premium... is there an upgrade option from home premium to professional for cheaper like windows 8?

let me just tell you immediately, the difference is very small, I wouldn't be complaining about a free OS... just look at the features and tell me how many you ACTUALLY need

oh ok, well that makes sense, you can STILL do this completely free, download the 64 bit iso of whatever version you have, and then use that key, the key pertains to windows, not if it's 64 bit or 32 bit, it's up to you

I just got really excited until I realized the reason the computer was messed up was the hard drive
