Yeah, that should last you a long time, though you'd replace a few things like storage just because of age

More like 4 years running everything on highest settings and then you'll need to eventually begin lowering settings to high & medium after that. If you're playing at 1080p you'll wreck pretty much any game for the foreseeable future. However at 4k you'll get like 2 years max of wrecking games at their highest settings.

Nothing is future proof, we can't say if it will last or not.

 

1. Get a 240 or 280mm aio, and get it from a brand like corsair or coolermaster.

2. Get a WD Black or Blue hard drive, don't get a green, the greens are quite slow and have long access times, whereas the WD blue and the WD black are much much faster.

3. I'd suggest getting an EVGA G2 power supply instead of the corsair RM. (I think the EVGA B1 PSUs are pretty good too, as are the Corsair AXi and HXi)

Ditch the Gigabyte board, if anything happens with it they won't help you. Switch the HDD to a Black, don't get two 980ti's and go cheap on the HDD.

well, sure you could get a 4790k but a 4690k won't bottleneck anything in games.
