SHORT TERM: Add a Kingston HyperX Fury 4GB, WD Caviar Black 1TB, Sapphire r9 390 to complete my current rig.

 

LONG TERM:

     Step 1: Build a 4k or Multi monitor setup, place it in my own gameroom.

     Step 2: Make a youtube gaming channel

     Step 3: Make said channel popular

     Step 4: ????

     Step 5: Rule the worl.... Ehem. Profit. :D

Building a mocap studio with Brekel body/face/hand in the spare room. Rendering rig is too fat for moving and to be honest it'd be nice to have a rig for rendering and a rig for modelling.
Probably grab one of the 40'' 4k monitors that The Tek team have been drooling over. Might make a nice cinema room with some beanbags.

No idea yet what yet to do for a GPU, can't be arsed spending on another titanX, probably flat out can't. Nor does the cost of a 980ti thrill me, but I need that vram. AMD is more than likely out due to incompatibility but it requires some investigation.

Brekel, though I'm not 100% sure of what I might run into in that regard, just going on what people have said on mocap forums. Various other CG suites, blender for instance I could never get working with my 290.

oh, I also want some 4K monitors and better studio monitors. Not sure if that counts as a rig upgrade (probably not) but is definitely on my setup wishlist.

Good evening everyone!

Since I am new in building a complete custom pc I want to ask you for advice (if I managed to pick parts that wouldn't work together) and your opinion on the products. (positive and negative aspects)
Feel free to make any suggestions on other hardware but be gentle with my wallet, please, I am already pushing the limits^^

The parts I would like to use for my pc:

CPU: Intel i7 5820K

Motherboard: Asus x99 Deluxe

GPU: Gigabyte Windforce GTX960 with 4GB VRAM
SSD: Intel 730 Series 240GB (Just for Windows and driver, for the rest i'll use a 2TB drive of my current pc)
PSU: Corsair RM 750W with Cablemod cables
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 4x4GB DDR4
CPU Cooler: Raijintek Triton AiO cooler (There I want to ask: Is it possible to use it with acrylic pipes instead of the standart tube and is it possible to change the fittings of the waterblock?)
Case: Lian Li PC08
