No pls, the cringe is too strong

What's cringe about it? No ricer leds (the ones on the gpu's are turned off) and just some white leds to illuminate components. I don't really see what's cringe about it.

Why the hell would you even pair a single 960 with a 5820K. The 960 is terrible, two is double the cringe and note worth it at all.

The 960 is a fine card, I don't play AAA titles all the time and I'm not playing at anything above 1080p so putting the money I save towards a 5820k more geared for content creation and streaming is more logical to me. I'm not building a machine to rule them all, I'm getting a machine that works best for what I'm doing.

Good point, however cuda is something to consider while content creation is in mind. The extra cuda cores are beneficial to rendering in a huge way.

Very true, what would you recommend? a 970 or 2? I'm probably not going to fork out the cash for a 980 or 980 Ti. Also, I use gamestream a lot so I can't use an amd card unfortunately.

Sooner or later, I'm going to see about building an iTX machine around this Xeon 1225v3 I have laying about. Either it'll be a small NAS for the parents, or possibly an HTPC. That's really all I have for future build plans.

Well, now that I got my Zotac Amp Extreme, I would say its time for a new motherboard and or a new MIC. When I got my HD 598's I lost the MIC on my Krakens and am thinking about the Sampson Meteor and the Asus AR mobo to match my color scheme.

Start out with a single 970 IMO. No need to fork out cash unnecessarily. If you aren't satisfyed, getting another isn't too complicated.
