Here are mine.

 

Short Term

  • Sell 690 and get 980ti
  • Sell Z87 G45 and get similar board with warranty

Medium term

  • CPU cooler: Dark Rock Pro 3

Long term (never)

  • CPU: Intel 5820k future equiv
  • Mobo: Cheapest "thermal armour" board with built in WB
  • RAM: 32gb of cheapest simple looking RAM
  • GPU: one more of whatever I end up getting, I sure as hell have enough PSU wattage..
  • Monitor: 6 LG curved ultrawides

New GPU: 970 for SLI because I won't be able to sell my first 970

New HDD and SSD: Maybe a 6tb WD black and a 500gb Samsung 850 Evo

Don't have the money to plan for short or medium term, and there's nothing that needs immediately changing bar my keyboard which is just out of preference and my monitor which I think is on it's way out

Indeed it is, I got two 8tb drives around 6 months ago to replace my previous pool of 4x 3tb barracudas and a 1tb blue as I had run out of sata ports.

Mid/Long-term: nVidia GP100 Pascal GPU/ 1440p 144Hz G-Sync OR AMD Arctic Islands highest end (whatever its called) GPU/ 1440p 144Hz FreeSync monitor.

 

I'll weigh my options between both (probably whichever comes out first, knowing me I can't wait :D ).
