Why do people like cats?

We have been watching cats taking the throne for years and years and making dogs equal to nothing on Internet. What so special in cats which isn't there in dogs? For me,cats are like a pastic bag drifting through the wind. 99% of cats can not even defend their owners or their property but in this case dogs do with their heart and soul. For dogs,a total submission to their owner(s) is like alpha and omega for them. Cats only know how to eat and sit all day but dogs know how to remain beside of their owner. Is it their fluffiness what drive people crazy? Or is is their :3 face what drives people crazy? Long story short, I utterly hate cats.

I love dogs, but I like cats, they are funny to watch as they have very wild personalities some dogs are full of character, but almost every cat is insane

I think some one that has an "utter hatred" for any specific kind of animal must be an irrational child.

have to clean the kitty litter

doesn't cuddle or anything

if you touch him in the wrong spot he will bite and claw until the only way to get him off is to pry his chaw open only for that to piss him off even more that he chases you around the house until he bites u back.

he sheds hair like theres no tomorrow

meows at early hours of the morning for food

Jumps on me at early hours in the morning and pushes down on my chest with his legs so i wake up (it hurts!)

 

All this and if you do end up getting a cuddly one it's most likely going to drool on you which is disgusting!

 

I would have a cat if i only had to have it in the day time lol.

Talking from my experience,I once owned an American wired hair cat and whenever he went to use litterbox,he never came back unless I went and pushed him into my house.

What if I don't care about a dog wanting to save me? What if I prefer a small, warm, furry body pressed lovingly against me while I sleep on a cold, winter night? Cats are just the right size to snuggle up against you.

 

Honestly, I hate when people say that a dog is "man's best friend" as if they are objectively better pets than cats. It's all just preference. I love both equally, so I say phooey to that!
