Just turn it off, and UNPLUG EVERYTHING.(HDD PSU CPU MB24 PIN SDD CASE HEADERS PWR RST SWITCH)

actually... if the case has a power and reset switch... swap the headers xD

(in the olden days reset switches were normally closed, but on modern system they're normally open, just like your power switch)

tbh i hate windows 10 so much i probably would've done it without one anyway. i'm on windows 7.

i have one of those old pcs with a turbo button, tried it, nothing happened...

looked inside, turns out the turbo button wasnt connected.

Take a screenshot, use photoshop to make it look like it artifacted and put that image maximized, no screensaver or power saving. He'd think the PC is dead but without lasting issues

thought so.

i was surprised to find that paired with 32MB SDRAM, and a 4MB s3 vga card, it can actually display the AoE2 menu screen xD

(dont even bother trying to get in-game tho xD)

Wow. that's surprising

tried loading up a small map.

 

after about 2 hours of loading i was dropped on the desktop, with all the background applications (yes - even with 32MB ram i'm a resource hog) still running.

Delete All His Steam,Origin,And Uplay Games (To Name A Few),Then Slighty Unplug Certain Connectors So it Looks Plugged in,Swap His Headset And Microphone Connectors,Disable His Headset,Remove All His Bookmarks And Delete Google Chrome Or Any Other Browser,And Then Install Internet Explorer.Genius

oldest trick in the book.

take a screen shot of his desktop and set it as his background and move all the icons in exact mirror to the other side of the screen then disable icons.

 

i used this on my friend after he changed my linux password to 1 million places of pi (our prank wars are very brutal) lol

 

another idea is to pull the fuse for that outlet nothing touched on the pc but its so funny.

 

or go old school and crank the volume on everything he has especially if hes like me and has a 30 watt guitar amp with a aux cable plugged into the computer.

Switch his PSU off, simple but it'll make your friend confused as f*ck why his PC won't turn on.

I've tried this to a friend of mine and he thought his PC was f*cked up for no reason :P
