Encoding - 24 FPS to 60 FPS

So does anyone got a good way to encode 24 FPS videos into 60 FPS?

As I have tried some guides, but they are old, and is not updated anymore, hence why I am writting this topic.

 

I hope someone out there is able to help me!

just open vegas pro and render the image in 60 fps.

How do you do it Premiere Pro, as I can mostly find topics about 60 FPS to 24 FPS, not 24 to 60.

Why do you want to up it to 60 fps anyway? It's only going to look worse, unless it's interpolated.

I've seen others that are using i example, Logitech C920 and encode it to 60 FPS, and it looks good imo.

to trick people into believing they are watching 60 fps, @LinusTech also did this to us.

There is a difference no doubt, it is more smooth. Why not do if, when you can? I know its not native 60 FPS, but you may as well improve whatever you have.

SVP plays videos at 60hz/whatever your monitor runs at on the fly. It doesnt save it though

There is 2 ways to change fps on video and that is to ether remove/duplicate frames or change speed.

So there is no way to create a true 60fps video from 24fps material, unless you wanted a speed up timelaps.

Even going from 24fps to 25fps can be problematic.

Just go into Premiere and render the video in 60fps, it will not make it go fast or anything..

It will just make it so a few frames are shown multiple times a sec, if that makes sense.

It'll still look pretty weird if it was natively recorded at 24 FPS.

I highly doubt you can make it look smoother just by artificially increasing the framerate at which the video is rendered.

True 60FPS video looks nice, if you do some frame interpolation it will look weird.
