You can't go wrong with Samsung, Intel or Crucial. I would personally recommend an 850 EVO

I have an 850 EVO and I love it. Most of the time it out performs my RAID-0 Kingston's.

i5-4690k | GALAX HoF 980Ti | MSI Z97 Gaming 3 | 2xHyperX Fury 8GB @ 2133MHz | 2x240GB Kingston SSD in RAID-0 | 500GB Samsung 850 EVO | NZXT H440 | Corsair H75 | Corsair RM750

Do not go gentle, into that good night.

Samsung; if you have a small budget

Intel; if you want legendary reliability

intel lasts longer?  never worked with them for storage.  samsung has been good.  but i plan on basically having just really SSD's  like one for boot then two for raid to use for games.  and my left over WD black HDD for storage (media)
