Been with them for over 3 years and i won't ever unsubscribe.I like what they do and it's the only tech channel i watch on youtube

It might be because people don't like some of the things they do, for instance the like-baiting stuff. Linus has already explained his position after I criticized him, but it doesn't change how I and many others feel about it.

Is it the PAX content? I don't really like to watch their PAX coverage as the videos are really short and not helpful.

Yeah I'd rather have like a daily VLOG of it then there usual tech video.

Could also just be Youtube deleting fake/inactive accounts or removing the subscription from people who weren't watching him anymore. Wouldn't be the first time youtube does this. They do it like once a year.

WEll then...what  did they do. 

I am pretty sure that shows the total amount of people who has pressed "unsubscribe" since he started the channel. Not how many people unsubscribed in like the last weeks.

The graph shows that he is still getting more new subscribers than he has lost.

 

So it's probably just people who subscribed for a while (like during giveaways) and then unsubscribed when they were over. A lot of them are probably from bot accounts that YouTube has deleted as well. A lot of them are probably people who subscribed to the channel and then just lost interest.

It was a time i did like ncix, but i got used with linus and i didn't like the way other members present the show and tech new so as soon as linus got on it's own i was there.

Must be the Vessel stuff, multi parters and maybe even the PAX content. Don't mind the first one, second one is kinda annoying and third too, because your sub box already gets spammed by these almost commercials..

Unfortunately Linus is only DMG and Luke is SMFC.

It's still a good chunk of subscribers lost - it could be a mix of what was mentioned in this thread, but regardless, a lot of people unsubscribed.
