How long have you loved PCs?

Dimetime35c

How long has everyone here been into PC and just technology in general? I've loved tech for my whole life but just recently started seriously getting into build my own systems and gaming rigs.

I was pretty much forced into being intersted in tech. Bith my mom and dad work in the tech sector, and they pretty much forced me and my sister into learning everything we needed about computers.

I'm a lot like you, I've always been a big fan of Consoles, however, I've always admired PC's and PC Gamer's as they have systems that can pull 4K while achieving 40FPS. Something consoles could only dream of, I too have recently found a strong liking for PC's and this year I'm planning to build my own PC in which I title 'Bloody Night' :P Cheesy name but it's so god damn cool :D

I remember playing Flash (was it flash?) games on AOL as a young kid so I guess that started it all.  I've been in and out of computers and cars, kinda swaying back and forth between the two over the years.

EDIT ~ Just remembered memories of playing Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit on the PC, so that too

I still sometimes play Zoo Tycoon (full collection or something, with Dinosaurs and Marine animals too) and it's still awesome!

The first computer my family got was a IBM DOS computer when I was about 4 in 89. So since about then I've been in love with computers.

Man you guys make me feel OLD! My first "PC" was a TRS 80, in the early 1980's with a tape drive and a tiny CRT monitor, been building and tinkering with them since.... before Atari, and I still hae the original Atari from my childhood.

I've always been into computers (and I also really like Macs (still kind of do)) but gaming. I don't think I'd ever consider myself a gamer or at least a dedicated/hardcore gamer.
