Not sure if this is against the CoC, but I'd like to share this with all ya'll Canadian students like me who cannot afford Office. I use other ways to obtain it free; however, I'd like the "real" thing. This is a legitimate petition from Microsoft.

That is correct, but it isn't as nice. Probably going to download it now though...

I believe there is a software type similar to Dreamspark but for office, the university would usually pay for it for the students to use. 

Computing enthusiast. 
I use to be able to input a cheat code now I've got to input a credit card - Total Biscuit

In my opinion it is better. I have Microsoft  Office and I prefer LibreOffice over it. By a ton.

2. Student in Colleges and Universities can get Office for free. You need to see with your school, or have a school email address.

Didn't know Office online existed. Sweet.

 

Not in Canada, or at least where I'm from. They don't accept our Canadian student emails. Hence the petition

I am in Canada. My university offers it. They give you Office 365 for 5 PCs and also 5 devices, with 1TB OneDrive space.

See with your college or university.
