Unofficial LTT Community Videos Is Dead :(

We're not endorsing anything illegal here, agreeably rooting gives you better abilities and tools to get around paid systems etc in apps, getting paid apps for free does not require an android root. Also, who downloads music on their phone =l Rooting in the end provides a much better user experience assuming the user is willing to take the time to learn his way around the different but rather simple steps to stuff like improving battery life, overclocking(if you really want to on a passively cooled device), killing apps in sleep, etc.

 

Getting control over custom recoveries and custom roms is probably the first and best step to getting extra features not provided in the version of android that comes with the phone, along with system optimizations. Sometimes, companies are behind when a new version of android comes out and heading over to places like xda and androidforums, you will see devs possibly working and releasing the latest version before it comes to your specific device officially.

Quick update for you guys. I fixed the issue with our video spreadsheet's security (kind of) by making anyone with a link can view. I was considering turning off the share link completely, but it would be better for new members to at least be able to see and and ask for an invite later. Anyway, I've collected emails for the majority of the team, although a few guys I still need to get. (trent, samstreck, vivlacqua1, nonahexa, abdul, LarsReviews). DatSpeed and 0ld_chicken I don't think I've seen ever on the forums so I'm going to assume they've lost interest in the project since I haven't received a reply from either from them as well. I shared the main google drive folder with the spreadsheet to the majority of everyone, and we currently have a team (that's hooked up to the docs) a solid number of 21 people.

 

Now that my roster's been filled up (for the most part) I'm going to be working on the docs that editors and makers can refer to when creating videos later on. This will direct a bit of traffic away from the ftp server if the person is logging on specifically just to refer to the "MAKERS" OR "EDITORS READ THIS" txt files.

Experience: 15 years of being a perfectionist. . . All jokes aside, I've made short video's since I was 8 and got my first camera. I've taken film-making classes at my highschool, and know how to properly set up a high quality shot.

Name: Jonny (or Jonnyswboy)

Role wanted: Maker (I also have editing experience and access to Premiere Pro, so I wouldn't mind editing my own video's (or even others') , but that's not a huge concern)

Why you feel you would fit this role: I have access to a lot of things that can help me create high quality and unique content. I've always made small video's and even some tech related stuff on Youtube (mostly gaming). I have a very low tolerance for anything that can reduce the perceived equability of something and always like to stay very objective about my opinions.

 

Ideas for videos:

A video about comparing a good audio setup (HD 558 and AT2020) to a budget gaming headset to see how much real world benefit and even competitive gaming benefits you will receive for your money. Or optionally I could even to unboxings and reviews for both the HD 558's and the AT2020 as they are currently in the mail and I haven't received them yet.
 
I have a DSLR and obviously an AT2020, so quality surely won't be an issue. :)
 
As for gaming content, I am quite experienced in CS:GO and I wouldn't mind making some video's about helping low level players to get better, or even suggest equipment to buy. I could put video's like this out every other day.

Sidenotes: If somebody hasn't already suggested this, we should get a Teamspeak server or something to talk about the channel and possibly make it easier for the maker to collaborate with the editor. Also it would be kind of neat of we had a bunch of idea's and had the community vote on which ones to be created, but I might just be going a little overboard. Also the logo of the channel is kind of iffy IMO, no flame <3.

 

We can just do a call on Google Hangouts as we allready have a chat there
