Jailbreaking 101 - Any IOS Help!

Heylo, fellow LTT members, today I felt like a making a jailbreaking help forum on LTT. Personally I'm a jailbreaking expert, I've been jailbreaking since IOS 4, I've got lots of hands on experience.

In this thread, I will be giving you the latest jailbreak tools and (if I find time) info on jailbreaks (Will keep you updated on jailbreak works etc) . If you need help with tweaks, I'll do my best to help, I don't really use tweaks, but I'll try my best to help. I'm also looking for "Jailbreaking Veterans" to help me maintain this thread if it gets big (Hope it does!). We can also attempt to help at unbricking iDevices, it is a hard procedure so don't except a 100% success rate. :)

Thank you very much for reading my thread, any help is greatly appreciated. Links will be mentioned below!

Done it since iOS 4. But really it is so simple to do unlike before when there was other things to do to get it working right. Its so much of a 1.Plug phone in. 2. Start program. 3.Press jailbreak. 4. Wait. 5. Have fun with tweaks. I see this becoming a favorite tweaks post more than anything. Also how the hell do you brick one? The most I ever had to do was DFU mode and restore or let it sit on the charger for an eternity.

My old iPod fell in the toilet and survived, it that counts as being a tank ;)

Well I mean for me it would be no use, the phone is completely dead now, screen starting falling off :P But good idea to help others nonetheless.

Hehe, funny that I just made a thread asking about jail breaking and only got few answers.

Say, what benefits would I get for jailbreaking my iPad Air - 32GB - Space Gray/Grey?

Any cool features or functionalities beside third party or pirated apps and cool animation on the screen?

Jailbreaking is fairly safe now a days too, Apple says that jailbreaking voids your warranty, but the truth is you can wipe device in a way leaving no remains of any jailbroken files. @Ryou-kun

Before you jailbreak.

- Backup your iDevice (Don't do it if your a rebel, liek me)

- Make sure you've got the right version of iTunes running, latest version of iTunes kinda blocks jailbreaking and can brick your device, will post which update you need.

- Verify your device is jailbreakable.

After you've done those steps jailbreak, I will add this to the first post along with some cool apps when I get time. :)

Not true, anymore. Latest version of iTunes should work just fine with Latest Taig version. Now You can use the latest version of iTunes. Just make sure you download and install this driver to make TaiG work: http://123.94.24.134/3d3f0df600000000-1429785427-2069763221/data100/ccpic.wanmeiyueyu.com/Data/itunes/iTunesDriver64_0205.exe
