Forget you i7 extremes, sell your GTX titans....Someone is selling their Alienware... -,-

Anubikai

Soooo...yeah...i was searching for pc parts on ebay and aw this in a suggested box....i have to admit. I cried a little.....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ALIENWARE-M17X-Gaming-INTEL-DUAL-CORE-28GHz-NVIDIA-SLI-BLURAY-1080P-WUXGA-/261255437530

just a little section i like the best

"Upgrades I've done which cost over $1000

Memory - 8GB DDR2 (twice the previous memory)
Hard Drives - 2x 1TB Hard Drives for 2TB OR 2000 GIGABYTES of Storage space
Operating System - Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit"

i dont know where he bought his ram or hdd's from but he got ripped off.....i dont know why he is trying to play the laptop off as ultra rare.....this would only appeal to someone who collects alienwares(who in their right mind would do that).....for the £1900he is selling it for you can buy this......

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1lQoF

which i would think might give you a tiny bit more performance...i just dont get why people do this. The worst thing about it that some uninformed person will eventually buy the laptop thinking its the best thing in the world...

This is what he says about the specs:

THIS IS THE DELUXE MODEL THAT RETAILED FOR, DARE I SAY IT?
$6,117.99

I bought this computer originally in 2010, it is the top end model of it's type

All the most expensive, top of the line upgrades were chosen!

I GUARANTEE You won't be able to find one more powerful
because I've already adjusted it with newer and better components

Apparently, this really was over $6000 when this guy bought it. I found this Cnet review that had their review product's price on it (http://www.cnet.com/laptops/alienware-area-51-m17x/4505-3121_7-33070235.html).

I always knew Alienware was overpriced, but didn't know it was this much.

Well, he did spend a lot on it back then. Things aren't cheap as they are now; especially the RAM. And I guess he has the price set high because perhaps somebody likes to collect overpriced Alienware hardware. Not saying they're too clever, but hey, it's their money.

P.S THAT'S SO MUCH THOUGH. I'D RATHER BUY A 12TH-HAND LAMBORGHINI.
