But the UK is bringing in legislation to make it a criminal offence to be 'cause a nuisance or annoyance'.

Yep, this stupidity and nanny BS is spreading, In Australia they passed a law making it illegal to offend someone.  Now you can be done for workplace bullying if your words are interpreted as offensive, not if they actually are, but if the victim says they are. :angry:

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

There was a learner driver in my street yesterday, I had to wait 3 minutes as they repeatedly failed to parallel park - this was both a nuisance and annoying to me, arrest them!

 

Pathetic law that is so wide open for interpretation it is laughable, police can (and will) abuse this for the most minor of issues.

I'm not going to lie, im going to spend one day walking through Glasgow trying to get as many people arrested as possible.

Remember Scottish Law is different from the rest of the UK  ;)

Really depends what they mean by it. 

If it's just for being sarcastic or something like that, this is ridicoulous.

But if they just needed some kind of law to forbid you poking other people in the face for no apparent reason, this seems about fair.

I think they have a bigger problem of kids acting like thugs and causing general nuisance to the public over there. So I think they are doing a good thing there..as long as they are effective at catching these morons.
